I'm flying to the states!!!

Tomorrow - 10am from Zurich airport to Dallas airport where hopefully Dann will be there to pick me up! I am so darn happy it's unbelievable!

Tomorrow? Wow, that was quick! How will you get around - by plane or bus? And pleasepleaseplease, hug the Rodziewiczes from me and tell them I say 'hi'!

Can't wait for details about where and how and when and who...

Have an insane amount of fun, I'll miss you! Looks as if you're definitely getting your bday pressie from down under... :)

sorry about being so slow...

i've arrived well in the states. Dallas, TX. Dann came to pick me up and showed me around this lovely southern place. I spent a few days with him, then we drove to Atlanta, and from there to Nashville, which is where I am now. (Of course there were many adventures on our way there and i got stories to tell. later.)

Just now I'm tryiong to somewhat catch up with email and whatnot and to convince greyhound.com to accept my swiss credit card... (whcih they don't... so i'll have to have chris drive me past their station and buy a ticket there. (to columbus, ohio...)

else i'm well and happy.

yeah - it was kinda quick... I got my tickets from SWISS, travel agent. The first travel agent I went to see said there were no spaces left for flights to america until the 14th August. The lady at SWISS looked at her screen and said: "I have a seat for you for Friday (the day after tomorrow)".

I said yes.

*grins*

I won't be able to make it to Florida this trip - but I'm quite sure that this is not the last time I'm travelling the states...
